Alki is a brand based in Larresoro, in the Northern Basque Country, that manufactures solid wood furniture. Known for its distinctive creations and its deep-rooted values as a cooperative, it is undoubtedly one of the most inspiring projects in the sector. Alki offers a wide range of standard and custom-made solutions for hotels, workspaces, cafés, restaurants, and public spaces. Among its completed projects, we can find work by renowned architects such as Foster + Partners, Frank Gehry, Steven Holl, Rudy Ricciotti, MVRDV, and RDAI, among many others.

Through the Mito agency, I took part—together with Fik specialists—in the UI/UX design of Alki’s new website developed on Shopify. Since I was not involved in the front-end development, the final result did not meet my standards.
